I love dogs. Honestly, there is nothing better then coming home after a stressful day and curling up with your overexcited puppy friends. I’m quite lucky really as I get to work with dogs all day, every day. I’ve worked at dog shows for years and learnt to groom dogs through that. I’ve moved more into canine nutrition and holistic health these days while studying to qualify as a sports nutritionist (for humans!).
Butty is my baby. We adopted her from my auntie and we have been inseparable ever since. She is becoming increasingly popular on Instagram (She has way more followers then me) and a constant stream of offers, work, opportunities dropping in her inbox.
While all this is great, I too know that starting a new business especially in the dog industry is so so hard. The market is MASSIVE at the moment and with everyone taking advantage of this, sometimes it’s hard to stand out. That being said Paws with Opulence were looking for some pet bloggers and I sent over details of Butty. I do have a love for sparkly things for my beloved Pug.
Specialising in luxurious products for our canine friends, Simone has grabbed an opportunity to get her ideas and products into the market. Focusing on smaller and medium breeds her attention to detail allows her to create truly customised pieces to suit every dogs own royal personality.
We were very lucky to receive a collar and lead matching set in both pink and nude and I have to say I am impressed with the quality of the products. I didn’t really know what to expect as I’ve come across a lot of items described as luxury that haven’t quite ticked the box. I love the nude one in particular and it suits Butty remarkably well considering she is of fawn colour. This may just be due to the deep desire for me to avoid anything stereo typically pink for my tiny dog.
We hit up the park for a prompt photo shoot and I loved the way they sat on Butty. I would recommend getting the medium for a pug sized dog, Butty is quite a small pug and the collars just fit round her chubby little neck. I really appreciate the lovely items being sent to us though and I’m sure Butty is proud to have worn the items on her daily walk.
What luxury items do you buy your dog? Anything really crazy?
