Collaboration with Chester Zoo.
Lets Play! at Chester Zoo! Amongst all the recent stress of moving out of our house and waiting for our new house to be ready. Squeezing everything we own into friends and families garages and putting my business plans on temporary hold. As a family we definitely needed a little time out and deserved some fun time together as well.
Chester Zoo are launching a new Play zone this month and they kindly invited us along to check out some of the new play areas and ideas they have put up around the zoo. Bonus is we got to see all the amazing animals too.
Matt met us as we arrived in the retail shop to give us our tickets for the day and gave us a little talk through of the new play zone, why they are looking for people to start shouting about it and also gave the kids a lovely goody bag to take home too.
let’s get things straight, you’re never too old to have fun!
The idea behind the new Play! at Chester Zoo zone is to create fun and engagement with the children and their parents throughout their day at the zoo. Promising animal impressions, playing hide and seek and trying to spy new animals on the boat ride there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy.
As well as this the kids loved the new skipping lanes around the zoo. Even a few “grown ups” got involved and went skipping rather then walking from animal to animal. They also have the best puddle markers on the ground for the rainy days so no excuses if the weather isn’t how you want it.
Most importantly their is a brand new play space opening on 27th May, the Madagascar Play! space looks incredible although it wasn’t ready for us to explore just yet. We got a peek whilst walking around and it looks like so much fun even I want to have a go when it opens!
You can check out more about the new Play! zone at the Chester Zoo website.
