Hello lovelies! I hope you are all well. I’ve had a few days off blogging as I have no internet and my phone data is being hammered right now. It’s becoming somewhat of a nightmare and I’m hating every minute. Unfortunately until the house is sorted we are kinda stuck in this situation but I’ll battle on as always!
There is nothing worse then getting to Spring and that damn hay-fever kicking in. Meaning that instead of heading out into the great outdoors, we’r restricted to hiding behind the window until the pollen levels drop. Now that the weather has decided to turn it up a notch and enter heatwave mode Superdrug and I decided to share some great products for any allergies you may be suffering with.
irritated eye drops
I have a habit of getting itchy eyes, they become almost gritty like and I just feel like someone has rubbed sandpaper across the front or something, it’s obviously down to lack of sleep, stress and/or allergies so these irritated eye drops are ideal for tackling that scratchy feeling even on the go.
hayfever relief nasal spray
I’d never thought of using this before, mainly because I didn’t know it existed and secondly because my allergies used to be fairly specific and skin related I’d never really needed to use a nasal spray before. Promises to alleviate the symptoms of hayfever and help you keep on track without feeling awful.
hayfever & allergy tablets
So now these are what I am most used to. Suffering from severe skin allergies, rashes and hives I’m used to having a lot of anti-histamines prescribed. I’ve had a quite severe flair up over the past month for reasons explained in previous blog posts so I started using these straight away. They reduce the itching which in turn allows the skin to heal from the inflammation and the little bonus is I get some sleep.
If you aren’t sure whether you have allergies or not, it’s always worth checking with your GP, I’ve listed some of the main hay fever symptoms here but I am in no way a medical professional so please don’t take this as solid advice.
- sneezing frequently
- blocked nose
- itchy eyes
- sinus trouble
There are also a few things to look out for when you have skin allergies which include eczema, intense itching, hives, flaking so it would be a good idea to get those things checked out. Here is the range on Superdrug should you need to stock up.
