Hello again, hope you’re all enjoying to crisp autumn mornings and frozen windscreens we’ve had these past few days.
I’ve spent the last week getting a little excited for what’s to come with this blog. I’ve had some successful posts these past few months which have made a massive difference views wise and I’ve felt really happy in this place again which makes my heart sing. I’ve managed to beat my anxiety, leave the house, walk through the city alone and meet a total stranger (sorry Nadia, glad you weren’t a weirdo) all in one day.
Let me tell you, that felt amazing. I think I’m still on the buzz from that now almost a week later.
Isn’t it amazing when you find somewhere that is just the perfect place too? Whether it’s for a tasty breakfast, an abundance of house plants to purchase and the most beautiful aesthetic fit for a blogger.
I wasn’t planning on writing this post and then after going through all the picture and considering that this place is insane I just couldn’t not share my thoughts.
I met with Nadia of Miel & Mint in the Flower Cup Cafe last week for breakfast and coffee. We’d been attempting to arrange a meet up for a while and we finally managed to get something in the diaries. I chose the Flower Cup purely because I’ve seen the place all over my facebook feed, I’ve heard so many good things and seriously have you seen their Instagram?
Previously I’ve raved about how much I love Hickory’s for brunch as does my daughter but this new quirky cafe may just be a firm new favourite.
From the pastel colours, the neon lights and the whimsical bicycle situated inside, there is something so magical about the interior. It’s been thought through incredibly well. And let’s not forget the food and coffee.
The latte was incredible, the breakfast was AMAZING. I opted for the avocado on toast which came with crispy bacon, rocket and a poached egg. It smelled so good and really filled me up. Plus the prices are great so you’re getting great value for money with the food there. Plus it tastes so good too.
I will definitely be returning to The Flower Cup Cafe at some point soon to try out their other menu must haves. Who can say no to pancakes anyway?
What’s your favourite “blogger” place? A cafe, a street, a hotel? I’d love to know!
