On Friday we decided to make the ninety minute long journey to Bala Lake for a new family adventure. We were excited as storms were predicted and what better way to watch them develop then sitting lakeside as they pour over the mountains of Snowdonia.
I’m a little obsessed with the weather and clouds, more on this in a few weeks though! Although no thunderstorms reached us on our trip, we had a great time, everything was moody and dramatic and the kids loved wading through the shallow ends of the lake.
We also got to see a different part of Wales that we hadn’t yet explored which was great, although we did happen to drive past the Llangollen Mountain fire which was a little scary as it was raging.
The trouble with having a heatwave and proper summer weather for a change, as well as a hosepipe ban being implemented shortly hurrah.
I’ve added a few of the pictures from our trip to Bala Lake and I’m sure you’ll agree that the place is pretty stunning, to celebrate a few wins recently I’ve also got some announcements and updates below so keep reading to find out what’s coming soon!
