I’ve got three half written posts awaiting photo shoots and editing. Somehow this means that I have persuaded myself not to complete them today, although I probably will. I spontaneously booked us on to a fun run last night so at 10.30am this morning the kids and I threw on our workout gear and headed down to the local social club to take part in a crazy colour run.
Yes, that includes tons of paint, an obstacle course including under net crawling, tires and a foam bath to get through. It was messy, bright and too much fun. Sometimes its good to not plan ahead and go out on a whim.
This proves it as we all had an awesome morning and spent it with familiar faces raising money for charity.
I’m really hoping that this week sees some good news. We’ve been waiting for what seems like an eternity for house news and I’m dying to know whether we will be any closer to our dream house. Cannot wait for mid week to get here to know more. Exciting is not the word. I’ve spend weeks on end building my house inside out. The theme for each room, where the furniture will come from, if we are buying new bits or recycling old furniture too.
It’s kept me busy I suppose I just hate feeling like everything is on hold. My business is on hold, my building a family home is on hold, my blog is suffering on and off with being limited by time, place and weather.
I’m hoping to finally smash the 6kg kettle bells this week and move up to the next weight at the gym. I’ve been throwing in some more shoulder raises, lunges and a few extra moves to push myself too. What are your workout plans for the new week?
Foodie wise I have been eating like a pig. Biscuits are definitely going on the banned list when we move. Definitely blaming living with my mother in law for the increase in waist and sugar addiction. Praying for news so I can shop for all the healthy food without any stupid comments.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend!
