Well the weather really doesn’t know what it’s doing does it? One minute the car windows are frozen and the fog lingers across the fields all day. The next the sun is beaming and the rays are heating us up under our knitted jumpers on our dog walk in the forest. I just don’t know what to do in the mornings and it’s been so misleading lately I’m just a complete mess when it comes to getting dressed in the morning.
One thing I do know is that the weather is cooling, ever so slightly. My skin being the pain that it is starts to play up at this time of year as the air around us begins to change. This means that once again I have to pay a little more attention to problem areas and invest in some really good skincare to keep my eczema at bay during the colder months of the year.
There is one thing that I have grown quite fond of over the past 12 months as I’ve rediscovered my love of having at least a slight golden glow all year round. This means that a product that can handle my sensitive skin along with dry patches, itchiness and without causing more upset and irritation is an essential in my daily routine.
This is where my favourite sunless tanning brand comes in. Vita Liberata have created a product that ticks all of the boxes and looks and feels great too. Their Marula Dry Oil Self Tan SPF 50 is the worlds first and has been created to look after your skin, make it feel good, give a subtle glow and give that all important sun protection too.
We created the world’s first odourless tan in 2007 and our unique Odour Remove ™ technology is now present throughout the collection. In 2011, we became the first completely non-toxic tanning brand free from parabens, perfume, alcohol and all chemicals of concern.
The Marula Dry Oil boasts so many good qualities for your skin, for smoothing, soothing and locking moisture in once applied. Of course, Vita Liberata as stated above are very against toxicities and this product and others are all missing those nasties that we like to try and avoid like parabens and sulphates which all irritate my skin when I’m having a flare up.
Honestly, there is no greater feeling then knowing once I’ve showered, exfoliated, smoothed my skin that I can continue to glow with this product as it’s not going to cause me any trouble during the colder months when my eczema tends to flare up and get irritated.
I am suffering quite badly at the moment with my skin, my face is all blotchy and red spots are rife. It’s part of the joys of having a severe skin condition I suppose but at least I’m getting to the point where I know what I can and can’t use on my skin. That and the fact that brands are very much trying to put together products that I can use. One’s without the nasties in, that soothe bad skin and aid the healing process too.
This is why Vita Liberata have been my favourite sunless tanning brand for a long time now and they will continue to be for a long time yet.
