Morning all, probably going to be a rather rambling style post with some hopefully useful ways to motivate yourself in the morning, so please bear with me, I really don’t like mornings and if you have landed on this post I will assume you probably aren’t the biggest fan of them either, and honestly all you have to do is sit down in the morning with your cup of tea and scroll through the wonders of Twitter to see the hoard of tweets to know that we need something in our lives to make these week day mornings easier.
Motivate yourself in the morning
I have decided to write a few things that I do on these ever dreaded mornings which I have found help me to get through even the toughest of mornings, even when they consist of getting two small stubborn little buggers dressed for school, getting to work on time, squeezing in breakfast, and preparing myself for 20 million emails and voice mails to return once I have managed to switch my computer on.
The main thing I have to try and remember is why I go to work, well obviously it is because I need a roof over my head, and to provide for my lovely little family but sometimes these things aren’t quite as obvious, and I find myself thinking, god, can I just quit already? But yes, the 6am alarm clock, the spilling milk all over the table at breakfast, the having to earn money for bills, rent, unexpected household appliance disasters you name it, you gotta earn it to pay for it.
Mondays also feel better when you have a plan of action, I like to think as a parent with a good few years of experience I have this plan of action locked down, I don’t obvs but, it’s not too bad at the moment, my routine at present is based on timing, if this falls out of sink, I am buggered, 6am alarm, get up, dressed, ready for work, 7am wake the kids up, get them dressed, washed and down at the table, husband leaves to take the kids to school at 8am, as they have to walk/bike at present due to a no car kinda situation and it isn’t that close to our house. You know the drill, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, find what works for you in the morning and stick to it, you’ll be over Monday morning like it was a terrible dream.
All The Organisation
Diaries, planners, to-do lists, sticky notes are all a bloggers dream right now, well as a mum that has a hell of a lot to juggle, they have been my dream for years, not just for scribbling blog post ideas, shopping lists, chores, things I need to remember to buy, peoples birthdays, I need a list for everything, I even have spreadsheets, crazy person, these all help with keeping you on track and help to install order and organisation within the household, personally I do not know what I would do without them. GET ONE, there are literally hundreds available these days in the blogging world.
Please whatever you do, even if you hate the world for not being born into a multi millionaires household like you were supposed to be, make someone happy, there is nothing better then cheering somebody up, it makes you feel good, help someone out, think of it as your good deed, compliment them, give them advice, whatever may be needed, I have started trying to do this when I get in to work and it really does change your attitude when you are ready to start work.

- Prioritise, go on, buy yourself another damn planner
