It’s been a while since I tried anything new in the health and fitness game. I have to say I was genuinely excited when this new range exclusive to Superdrug turned up on my doorstep.
I’ve been really struggling of late with the whole health and fitness thing which is kinda tragic as that’s the main theme of my blog. Although I do always stick to the I’m a healthy “lifestyle” blog so I can throw a mix of posts in. I really wanted to stay loyal to the health game and continue to improve my well being at the same time.
Autumn is usually one of my favourite months but I suppose when you suffer a series of mental health issues the weather and dark turn of the mornings can mean increasingly demotivated days and a struggle to get out in the fresh air.
I’m really finding it hard to sit down and concentrate too.
Between trying to tweak things blog wise, write new posts, take new images that haven’t been done before. It can all get a little bit too much can’t it? That and the old comparison thing is seeping back in although I plan on writing up that experience on a post all of it’s own.
Sometimes all it takes is something new.
Back to the writing board. I have to say one of the perks of being a blogger is that you get added to PR lists. Not always, and it’s definitely not a guarantee of the game, but on occasion new products land on your doorstep unexpectedly and not gonna lie, I get those excited butterflies and a warm glow of gratitude that PR’s actually want to send me stuff to try out and review.
The new range by Superdrug features all the health goodies you can imagine, without the fad that usually follows.
From the clean, crisp, aesthetically pleasing packaging to the fact that it can be incorporated into your already healthy lifestyle is pleasing to see. There are a few products that I was a little apprehensive to try, like the detox teas, but they are described as an addition to your already healthy diet rather then a replacement like a lot of these celebrity teatox crazes are.
The new range has been designed to help you feel more you. It seems like the release is perfect for the festive season, and those that are getting ready to put their new years resolutions together once again focusing on the get fit trend that comes after Christmas season.
Superdrug have definitely got you covered for the new year anyway with their range of protein shakes, powders, popcorn for snacking, protein bars and detox teas, there is something here for everyone that wants to achieve that after new year healthy feeling that everyone craves after overloading.
I’m an absolute sucker for popcorn these days and I’m pleased to announce that they even do a sweet and salty mix which is my ABSOLUTE favourite. Hurray. I also add the protein powder into my morning smoothie to make sure I’m getting enough in with my workouts, when I manage to actually do them that is.
We all know I’ve fallen a little out of the loop when it comes to exercise this past month. Hopefully this new range of goodies will encourage me to put my running shoes back on and restart my love affair with the countryside trails.
Have you picked anything up from the Some Body range by Superdrug yet?
