Hello there, welcome back.
I’ve had such a good week away. If you haven’t already heard me harping on about it. We took a road trip round the North Coast of Scotland with the kids and I have to say we struck lucky.
The weather was insane, the seas were the perfect shade of blue and the scenery was like something out of this world.
I’ve been meaning to write a load of posts as per my editorial calendar but sometimes we just need a break. I’m sure you can agree.
I’ve been in a weird place the past few years. With personal circumstances and illness, to entering the self employment world and trying to work out what it is I want out of life as I approach the big three zero.
It seems that a week away from the norm, a break if you will, has really helped me to sit back and think about what I need to do next.
So as you may have guessed I have a shit ton of image content and video content to put together, edit and upload all over the place now. This may take a while as there are a lot of things going on at the minute. Bear with.
I also realised that taking your kids on a holiday break kinda just makes it feel like home away from home. Okay yes the lack of social media and decent internet connection was pretty good. Seriously though, how hard is it for children to use their own imaginations these days!?
Anyway, the break away has really helped me get in a good place. I’m enthusiastic, motivated and have an idea of the path I want to go down. These things hit me by surprise, I never planned to go away and return with my 5 year plan. It just kinda happened.
There is plenty for me to be cracking on with work wise, blog wise and potential new career wise over the next few weeks. I’m super excited and cannot wait to share the news with you all soon. To be fair, you’re probably not even that bothered, but either way. I’m sure I’ll be popping it on here regardless.
I’ll put all my Scotland posts together over the next few weeks too. Where we travelled, the things we saw, areas of outstanding beauty and why you should take on the Scottish Coast.
You’ll be surprised at how much it’ll amaze you. If incredible scenery and the great outdoors are your kinda thing anyway.
