Hello again, it’s time for another local adventure.
This time we explored a little adventure hidden away in the Cheshire countryside. We’d heard so much about this place over the past 10 years but for some reason, never made the drive to explore for ourselves.
We planned the trip on a whim one weekend and I have to say I am 100% glad that we made the decision. The Crocky Trail is an adventure trail, playground and family day out all rolled into a lovely bit of the countryside nestled in rural Cheshire.
They have an array of play equipment at the start of the trail for all ages to enjoy. We particularly enjoyed the Titanic which is a giant slide that requires you sitting at the top and holding on until it tips upright… the kids found it hilarious and Lucy conquered this on more then one occasion remaining at the top until the very end.
Once you enter the trail things quieten down a little and you’re in amongst the trees, fields and stream that runs alongside the trail. There are all kinds of obstacles to get involved in along the trail, including countless wobbly bridges, a rope swing that’s pretty strong, a jail to lock the kids in if they are misbehaving, joking, and some beautiful backdrops to take advantage of too.
I struggle when it comes to explaining how good these kinds of places are. There is nothing I enjoy more then being out doors on an adventure with the kids whilst doing something active.
The Crocky Trail have got this perfected. Outdoors, fresh air, obstacles, adventure trails. Plus the entry costs are reasonable considering that they have so much at the start to do and picnic areas too.
The perfect weekend adventure for sure, we’re even looking to purchase an annual pass we loved it that much.
